Summary: My extended family and I stayed here for a little mini retreat. The owner was attentive and responsive. The property is private and spacious. It's a great space to unplug and just spend time together. We cooked all of our meals, played yard games and hung out by the pool. We only left the property once to go hiking. A few things to keep in mind for potential travelers: 1. The area is surrounded by nature. There will be bugs. 2. You might not have cell service all the time but you shouldn't be on your phones anyways. 3. Although the house is equipped with modern appliances and the upkeep of it is AMAZING, one must remember that the house is old. There are some minor signs of aging, the windows can be a little fussy and sometimes the house creeks. We found it beautiful and charming, however, it may not be everyone's cup of tea. 4. The beds are not the most comfortable and are a little noisy for those who toss in their sleep. Overall, a wonderful place to stay.

Summary: We loved the music room -some of us being musicians. The entire house is very well taken care of and the kitchen perfect to cook big meals and to accommodate 7 adults and 2 kids. Karima was very helpful in organizing the snow plough for the time we needed it and providing additional information about the area.

Summary: Lots of fun. Room for children and adults. Being more from the suburbs we prefer the option of window coverage on the first floor as well as it was on the second floor. During the day open an scenic and in the late evening much less fir personalization. There was some small issues with some circuits overloading which knock out service in some rooms periodically. This was evidently a known problem that owners were intended on dealing with. Them were helpful when needed. Also, we can appreciate the country living but are still technologically informed meaning we appreciate television and only one older small one in the kids playroom was available. Since we had children that loved there electronic gaming set we did take any chances and brought two small lcd’s. That way only the adults were without unless they were gamers like the younger ones. After all if u were weather stranded these things are essential to having options to still enjoy your stay because nothing is cheap these days. They’re WiFi which was provided was very accommodating for phones, tablets and gaming, etc. To the owners thank you for the opportunity and our response was strictly for a useful honest critique.

Summary: We stayed at Karema's house in Sandisfield, MA - group of 9 - 4 adults and 5 teens. We had enough room so we weren't on top of each other - kids paired up took 3 bedrooms. The only thing we had to jockey a bit was the bathroom - there are 2 bathrooms but only one had a shower. Apparently no one in our group was a fan of a soak. We did not get a chance to venture across the street to the stream - it was pretty cold in February so didn't go out venturing except to say hello to the friendly billy goats. They were so affectionate, they are like dogs - too adorable. The wood burning stove in the kitchen was great and warmed us up at night. Kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, bartender shaker (very important), all sorts of gadgets (fancy wine bottle openers that I'm afraid of) and cabinet stuff that is handy like salt/pepper, olive oil. Plenty of towels and toilet paper. I never did laundry but had a nice set up. The beds were extra firm, which suits me just fine - i hate soft mattresses. We went to Lee and G Barrington....all well within 20-25 minutes - I didnt really find G.B that "great", BUT found the BEST vintage store ever created - love, love, love Boho Exchange. Serious good finds there if you are into that. There are a few consignment shops in the area as well. I'm still thinking about Boho Exchange - extraordinary finds for sure. Went to Lee, while smaller town, has a bit more charm in my opinion - they have antique shop there Finders Keepers - spent at least an hour there - great assortment of stuff you don't need but plan to leave with a little sumthin. Overall, the house was great, comfortable (which is most important) and clean (okay, this is important too). You will not be disappointed.
